Job Description

As a Consumer Marketing Manager you will be globally responsible for the Audio and Video Baby Monitor portfolio; defining the commercial strategy, innovation pipeline and ultimately financial performance of the category. You will create winning value propositions and put the enablers in place for commercial successful of these propositions, with a strong focus on ecommerce which is the main channel for our Smart Parenting portfolio.

Your responsibilities

The Product Manager will be the upstream lead for key new product introductions and commercial success of the portfolio. You will leverage the existing portfolio whilst create solutions to maximize value extraction. You will work with a global R&D team as well as with our commercial teams in our Region teams across the globe and will leverage internal and external partners to accelerate our strategic ambition.

You are a part of

  • The global product marketing team within Philips Avent business. Philips Avent is a leader brand in the Mother & Childcare domain, delivering products and services that support parents in healthy development of their baby and toddler.
  • You will be working in a network of various stakeholders based in both the Netherlands, Hong Kong and in the various country organizations.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related fields;
  • Relevant work experience in marketing / brand management of consumer products
  • Ability to identify and validate consumer and customer needs
  • Experience with developing value proposition, ideally in consumer electronics
  • Affinity with ecommerce channels (Amazon or similar retailers)
  • Strong commercial acumen (active P&L knowledge, portfolio optimization, quality mindset)
  • Excellent communicator and presenter
  • Ability to influence and drive priority across the enterprise
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills and the passion to drive business growth;
  • Strong leadership skills, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and nurture effective relationships within the matrix by developing strong cooperation with peers within the market, cross business, and cross function
  • Fluent English
