- - - - What the Candidate Will Do ----

1. Be a technical leader who actively identifies and tackles critical engineering and business problems within the Payments space
2. You'll have the autonomy to define problems, propose solutions, and lead their execution with minimal oversight
3. Develop and implement a strategic vision and roadmap for the Payment Methods team
4. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the members of Payments Methods team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation
5. Guide team members in best practices for code, documentation, testing, and monitoring, setting a high bar for engineering quality
6. Work effectively with cross-functional partners (product, design, business development) to ensure that technical solutions align with business goals

- - - - Basic Qualifications ----

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
2. 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of building, implementing, and maintaining complex large-scale applications
3. Proficient in iOS engineering & tools with up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments
4. Strong understanding of best practices in code, documentation, testing, and monitoring
5. Experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams
