The successful applicant will be performing work in FedRAMP High or IL-5 environments, and therefore, must be a U.S. Person (i.e. U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee). This position may also perform work that the U.S. government has specified can only be performed by a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the application systems in operation, including tasks related to identifying and solving problems application issues and issues resolution or customer concern.
- Root cause analysis, management communication and client relationship management in partnership with Infrastructure/Service Support team members.
- Responsible for deploying the regular code updates across all the environments including Dev/QA/Staging.
- Diagnose Problems/Issues/Defects and be able to communicate well with the customer.
- Investigate technical issues with client integrations or internal system and Guiding customers though setup/using of platform features and APIs.
- Delegate issues to downstream teams for deeper investigation
- Coordinate with Development team to seek and devise solutions.
- Maintain documentation and playbooks related to Support and System Operations
- Work in a Ticketing environment (i.e., Tivoli, ServiceNow)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8 + years experience with AWS Services, including but not limited to (VPC, EC2, EBS, EFS, SNS, RDS, DynamoDB)
- 8+ years experience handling Linux services
- 8+ years experience in Shell Scripting OR Python
- Requires experience with Relational Databases, with a minimum of 8 years working with MYSQL and/or MSSQL
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of Integration Tools (Jenkins)
- Knowledge of Planning Tools (JIRA, GitHub)
- Experience reading Java code
- Linux: CPU, memory, TCP ports, openfiles, iowait, load average, file operation commands
- Tomcat or Jboss or any web application server deployment knowledge.
- SQL: select/update/DELETE/join queries
