A proven track record of developing and executing go-to-market (GTM) / sales programs and initiatives at scale with tangible results, are critical attributes that will lead to success in the role. A deep knowledge of the analytics market is required.In this role you will be accountable for:Setting strategic program direction, as well as oversee tactical execution, of insight based programs and go to market activities with a focus on expanding AWS market share in our top key pursuit accounts, segments, and verticals within the private sector
- Using your business savvy to drive revenue, develop sales programs and identify new markets and opportunities. You would work directly with the most interesting and demanding customers to understand their requirements and turn them into reality
- Be a leader of remote teams. You will guide cross functional teams to drive AWS adoption in the key workloads that use the AWS Storage portfolioKey job responsibilities
• Partnering with AWS corporate platform services and industry teams to identify workloads that impact our storage services
• A background in mapping the application of technology to customer business scenarios that help our customers understand how to improve their operational outcomes through the use of AWS storage services
• Your excellent verbal and written communication skills will allow you build sales enablement tools, evangelize our platform with our enterprise and mid-market customers as well as our valued partners and serve as the primary Executive Briefing Center representative of the storage business
• Act as a trusted business advisor while deep diving into data, creating high impact programs, and tracking progress while tuning for desired results
• Be a leader of remote teams. You will guide cross functional teams to drive AWS adoption in the key workloads that use the AWS Storage portfolio
• Lead GTM to orchestrate sales motions for sales, marketing, partner, product, training, and professional services teams to accelerate adoption of your aligned technology domain.
• Leverage your deep domain expertise to create best in class field enablement and sales strategy.
• Support field teams in solution building for high priority customers.
• Bring market signals back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS product roadmaps.
• Own reporting and planning cadences to AWS executives on GTM plan execution.
• Demonstrate thought leadership and be able to credibly represent AWS at industry events, conferences, symposiums, etc.Basic Qualifications:
• 7+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience
• 5+ years of Analytics and Data Lakes
• BA/BS degree requiredPreferred Qualifications:
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills.
• Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams, as well as internal and external executive stakeholders.
• Established track record of credibility as a technology advisor with customer executives (e.g. CEO, COO, CIO, CTO, CMO) and Line of Business Leaders.
• Experience and success in negotiating complex deals with customers and partners.
• Experience in a heavily matrixed sales environment, including developing, implementing, managing, and executing go-to-market growth initiatives and sales motions.
• Deep understanding of cloud technologies, including public and hybrid cloud platforms.
• Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- • 7+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience
- • 5+ years of experience with Analytics and Data Lakes
