We are seeking a seasoned and highly motivated Staff Marketing Manager to pioneer the digital media strategy for our Activate Experts program. This is a critical role where you will architect and execute comprehensive marketing strategies designed to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion for a key new offering. You are not just running campaigns; you are building the playbook for how our brand wins at the local level, market by market.
This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the full media funnel, a passion for data-driven results, and an exceptional ability to influence cross-functional partners. Reporting to the Principal Manager of Local Digital Media and Emerging Tech, you will be the central hub for one of our most exciting growth initiatives.
ResponsibilitiesAs the lead for the Activate Experts program, you will own the end-to-end digital media strategy.
Your responsibilities will fall into three key areas:
1. Strategic Program Leadership & Innovation
- Architect and execute sophisticated marketing strategies that seamlessly blendnational brand messaging with DMA-level and hyper-local targeting.
- Command the program's digital media budget, ensuring every dollar is allocatedeffectively to maximize ROI and exceed ambitious performance goals.
- Pioneer innovative, scalable testing plans for local markets, partnering with datascience and analytics to define and measure success.
- Evaluate and recommend new marketing technologies and tools that can unlockpersonalization and performance measurement at the local level.
2. Cross-Functional Influence & Partnership
- Serve as the primary media partner for the internal go-to-market team, influencing everything from target market selection to KPIs and measurement.
- Champion the program's vision across the organization, ensuring alignment withsenior leadership, product marketers, data partners, and finance.
- Cultivate strong relationships with agencies and media partners, staying on thecutting edge of platform best practices for web, phone, and in-person conversiontracking.
- Deliver clear, concise updates to senior leadership, confidently representing program strategy and performance in high-stakes presentations.
3. Performance Measurement & Optimization
- Drive the operational rhythm of the program through regular op mechs and maintain workstream clarity via weekly prioritization.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both tactical optimization and high-level strategic pivots.
