1. Strategic Planning & Design Management
a. Contribute in developing comprehensive 6-8 months network implementation roadmaps aligned with AWS DC expansion targets
b. Create and optimize network position layouts and rack placement strategies for data centre floor space utilization
c. Review and contribute to High-Level Design (HLD) documentation
d. Coordinate with engineering teams to validate technical requirements and design specifications2. Project & Resource Management
a. Lead end-to-end project planning for multiple concurrent network implementation initiatives
b. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, and dependencies
c. Manage project scope, and quality parameters
d. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies3. Supply Chain & Inventory Planning
a. Develop project inventory forecasts and requirements
b. Optimize developed counts by utilizing prior surplus spares.d. Manage vendor relationships and delivery schedules4. Program Governance & Process Excellence
a. Establish and maintain project management frameworks and best practices
b. Develop sustainable and repeatable planning processes
c. Create and maintain project documentation and reporting standards

Days typically involve strategic planning and coordination across multiple concurrent projects. The planning phase begins with analyzing capacity forecasts and translating requirements into structured work packages using standardized templates. You'll spend time coordinating with supply chain teams to validate material availability, consulting with engineering on technical specifications, and working with field teams to ensure deployment plans are executable.A typical day might include participating in cross-functional meetings to align project timelines, creating detailed work breakdowns for upcoming deployments, reviewing and updating project documentation, and coordinating with stakeholders across different time zones. You'll regularly use data analysis tools to track project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule.About the team

- 5 years+ experience in infrastructure, planning or similar roles
- Understanding of network architecture and data center operations
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project) and methodologies
- Strong data analysis, visualization and automation skills (SQL, Python etc.)
- 5+ years data center networking experience working with optics, bulk fiber and a firm understanding of power and cooling.
- Experience using business intelligence tools
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, IT, or related discipline)
- PMP, CAPM, equivalent certification or project management experience
