As an IT Procurement Manager (AVP) within Procurement and Third-Party Management function, you will become a member of a high-performing EMEA Technology Procurement team that identifies and leads procurement and contracting initiatives focused on the IT expense categories.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Establishing strong relationships with internal business / IT functional stakeholders; building a strong understanding of strategic business direction, requirements and priorities across assigned projects, suppliers and/or spend categories
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of Citi’s policies and procedures related to supplier selection, contracting and ongoing management, ensuring all requirements are met and documented throughout the end-to-end procurement process
- Managing RFP processes to support business, category and project strategies,
- Performing financial analysis including demand scenario modelling, P&L impact analysis and benchmark comparisons to support supplier selection and negotiation processes
- Developing, leading and/or managing a portfolio of initiatives across the end-to-end procurement and contracting process, including the development and execution of negotiation strategies for assigned projects
- Negotiating contracts, partnering with Legal and business function, to optimize overall value including financial outcomes, service levels and risk mitigation
- Managing supplier relationships with a focus on quality, service, delivery, risk and cost
What we’ll need from you:
- 5 years of previous Procurement, Contracting, Buying Desk and/or Business-related experience; preferably in the procurement of IT products and services
- Knowledge and experience with Procurement applications (e.g. eRFx, eAuction, P2P)
- Experience working in a large, global, highly matrixed organization
- Financial Services industry experience is a plus
- Proven track record of leading procurement and contracting initiatives
- Experience in creating purchase orders, liaising with catalogue updates in P2P, being familiar with the maker-checker concept is a plus
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills
- Developed interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills – proficient English knowledge is a must
- Strong financial modelling and deal structuring skills
- Aptitude for innovation
- High integrity and ethics
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree from an accredited College or University
