Job SummaryReporting to the Operations Manager, theis responsible for program development, design interpretation, machine set ups, trouble shooting and quality control.
Work environment:Manufacturing Setting
: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
What a typical day looks like:
- Create and edit CNC programs for machining parts and components using AP100 and VPSSRi systems.
- Interpret design specifications, blueprints, and CAD models to develop CNC programs.
- Set up and test CNC machines to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Identify and resolve programming and machining issues.
- Ensure machined parts meet quality and precision standards.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years experience as a CNC programmer or machinist with AP100 and VPSSRi systems
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code) and CAD/CAM software, with experience in AP100 and VPSSRi systems
- Certifications in CNC programming or machining
- Familiarity with specific CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Understanding of machining processes, tools, and materials
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with design teams and production staff
