Reporting to theOperations Managerwill be responsible for effectively managing all strategic operational processes and resources and leading an organization to achieve and maintain operational excellence.

Here is some of what you’ll need:

• Manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels.
• Oversee the assembly operations to meet corporate KOI.
• Supervise production staff on work method and quality checkpoints.
• Coordinate with other departments and other Flex sites to drive for excellence.
• Coordinate efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices.
• Ensure ISO and safety standards are adhered to.
• Report to Senior Management team in weekly operations reviews.
• Coach and mentor Operations team.
• Leverage industry practices and apply to internal systems and processes.
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
• 7years of operations experience, including supervision.
• Expert functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills
• Effectively communicate across all levels of the organization and across functional areas, including verbal, written, and presentation communication.
• Read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
• Respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints to both internal and external customers.
• Directly manage and indirectly influence functions to drive
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions using the data and associated data analysis to defend a conclusion.
• Impacts the long-term (annual) direction and financial or operational success of the function and/or site.
• Develops and deploys major initiatives, functional processes or new technologies for the end to end manufacturing operation at the site, in alignment to and in support of functional strategic plans and objectives for the site.
• Understands and drives the P&L of the manufacturing area supported.
• Recognizes and develops talent as a key element of executing operational business plans.
