You will be a lead SDE for the large two-pizza team (~12 SDEs), define and evolve its practices, and own your team's product vision and roadmap. You'll ensure that the best engineering practices are followed and that our software is of the highest quality. You will be a key contributor in our product vision, partnering with product management teams to help define and develop a roadmap of customer-delighting features, and then delivering those features. You will work closely with other teams throughout HSD organization to design and architect solutions that will scale to millions of customers.Key job responsibilities
- Define the system architecture, own and implement specific components, and help shape the overall experience- Participate in the full development life cycle, working within broadly defined parameters, including test plan execution and software quality needs.
- Contribute to planning, design, implementation, testing, operations, and process improvement
- Design and define the interaction between the solution components and other systems where applicable.
- Engineer highly scalable, cloud-native applications
A day in the life

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
