- Daily truck and trailer inspection.
- Vehicle cleaning including wash and minor detailing.
- Obtaining scale weights and refueling.
- Capable of performing material handling practices withinthe warehouse environment in between loads.
- Miscellaneous jobs as required.
- Valid driver’s license with Class A CDL and current DOTPhysical Examination medical card.
- Clean driving record, insurable, and subject to review.
- TSA driver hazardous materials endorsement required and48' - 53' tractor trailer hauling experience preferred.
- Great work ethic & team player - levelheaded, detailoriented, safety contentious, courteous, flexible, punctual, professional, andcustomer focused.
- Accurately maintain daily driver logbook, pre-check, andpost-check of truck.
- Ability to maintain a clean driving record with a highlevel of safety awareness on the roadways.
- Ability to lift and move heavy boxes (up to 60 pounds) andmanually pallet jack heavy material on/off trucks.
- Forklift Certification training a plus; will be requiredto operate on occasion.
- Knowledge of local major and minor roadways and adherenceto federal motor carrier safety regulations / DOT guidelines.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) and theability to follow instructions.
- Able to work OT as required and work within 250-mile airradius of Tesla Gigafactory.
- Position subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
