Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
2 years of experience in each of the following skills is required:
Analysis of supply chain to continuously monitor and root cause unique demand patterns, abnormalities, or spikes to improve future forecasts.
Statistical forecasting methods such as time series analysis, moving averages, or exponential smoothing are employed to generate demand forecasts, identify seasonality patterns, and
ensure they are included in future forecasts.
Managing inventory to determine appropriate levels required to meet customer demand by balancing inventory carrying costs, stockout risks, and maintaining customer service levels.
Generating weekly supply plans that ensure alignment with organization targets for inventory turns and customer service levels by monitoring KPIs (such as Fill Rate, Inventory Turns,
Weeks of Supply, and Customer backlog).
Utilizing ERP tools such as Oracle Demantra, SAP, JDA for purchase requirements, releasing Purchase Orders (PO’s), amending PO’s, setting master data, reviewing costs, reviewing
inventory, creating stock transfer orders, reviewing purchase history, reviewing stock consumption history, creating pack orders, managing open customer orders.
Analyzing large datasets of more than 1000s of SKU’s weekly using statistical analysis tools such as Excel, R, Python, or SQL.
Experience using Simulations and Optimizers in Planning Tools to leverage data analytics and optimization and address when resources are untimely constrained.
Generating short and long term vendor forecasting to guide original equipment manufacturers
