A Commissioning Project Engineer supports the delivery of data center capacity through managing project milestone auditing, calibration, and commissioning execution for new construction and Capital Improvement Projects (CIPP).You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. • Manage project milestone auditing and calibration with partner teams
• Create and maintain Procore tooling for project setup and tracking
• Develop and implement Modeled Change Management (MCM)
• Manage commissioning vendor (CxA) relationships and deliverables
• Track and report project metrics and observations
• Create Scope of Work (SOW) documents
• Support commissioning execution for Phase 1 and Follow-on Room (FOR) projects
• Coordinate with stakeholders across data center regions
Physical Requirements:
• Walk job sites in uneven terrain
• Work at heights and from ladders
• Regularly walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Lift and/or move up to 49 pounds; and participate in group lifts for 50 pounds or more
• Work in a noisy environment
• Work in environments that are colder or hotter than a normal office environment
• Work shifts longer than eight hours in duration with potential for night and weekends

Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field, or relevant discipline work experience
• Strong project management and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in project tracking and reporting tools

• Advanced knowledge Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook required; advanced knowledge of SharePoint (or similar) preferred
• Ability to read construction documents (design drawings, control diagrams, specifications, etc.)
• Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
• Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
