We’re seeking an individual with at least 5 years work experience in Finance / Operations, with Structured Product knowledge, who can help lead and drive the build out of the middle office support and control team. You will play a pivotal part in helping to support the lifecycle of a trade. Working closely with Business partners, Client’s, and internal stakeholders to ensure all transactions flow through our front to back Operations teams, with no issues.

You will develop a broad and detailed understanding of the Organization’s landscape, culture, processes, and Technology.

You will have the opportunity to recommend creative suggestions on how to improve processes to minimize losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risk better serve our Clients.

Risk Management:

• Overseeing and executing critical core operations activities to maintain a culture and environment where processes, risks and controls are continually monitored, and potential risks escalated on a timely basis; including but not limited to Structured Note issuance functions, preparing various lifecycle calculations and fixing notices on structured trades (cross assets), as well as overseeing both Sales, Trading & Client booking queries and exception management.

• Facilitating risk close out for market transactions, as an invested Structured Products partner and advisor for the growing Structured Notes Business.

• Daily Collaboration across Global Clients, Trading, and Operations teams to provide solutions and identify/resolve root cause.

• Acting as key point of contact for the team across internal and external stakeholders.

• Identifying trends, synergies and weaknesses across products and regions.
• Recommending control enhancements as needed aiming to reduce many of the groups MTPs (Manual Touch Points).

• Subject Matter Expert in Cross Asset Structured Product Issuance functions
• 6-10 years of experience in a related role
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Attention to detail and intermediate problem solving skills

• Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Masters degree preferred
