Job responsibilities
- Leads end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
- Owns and manages the technology investment portfolio, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives
- Collaborates closely with technology partners and product managers to prioritize and deliver key initiative
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Works closely with counterparts in other regions to coordinate activities that involve multi-regional engagement; Payment Product teams, Credit Risk, Technology and Operations
- Thinks through global system performance, reliability, scalability, service levels, and responsiveness of solutions, ensuring robust program management and reporting to all relevant stakeholders and partners
- Identifies process deficiencies, business risks, and escalates accordingly within the Risk and Control framework
- Acts as a liaison between the technology team and other departments to ensure seamless communication and execution of projects
- Understands and contributes to the role of a Product Owner, ensuring that product visions are translated into actionable plans
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area
- Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities
- Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes
- Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies
- Working knowledge of Data analytics tools eg DB macros, Python and like data managing tools
- Working knowledge of Payment flows and credit risk management
- Commercialization acumen, strong analytics, outside-in competitive view
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to present product concepts, gather feedback and influence decision-making processes
- Prior experience working with technology teams and a deep understanding of the product owner role
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Prior experience of leading/ managing risk governance, especially corrective action plan governance
- Prior experience of working with Product Risk management
- Payments experience , preferred
- Ability to partner across a global team to effectively manage deadlines
