Your key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and data-driven solutions in Azure.
• Lead end-to-end data science projects, from problem framing to model implementation and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, cloud architects, and domain experts.
• Translate business problems into analytical frameworks and actionable insights.
• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to EY’s internal knowledge base and best practices.

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, machine learning, and scripting.
• Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse).
• Solid understanding of ML concepts, statistics, and model evaluation techniques.
• Experience with data wrangling, feature engineering, and large-scale data processing.
• Familiarity with DevOps/MLOps in cloud environments is a strong plus.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics roles.
• Hands-on project experience deploying models in production environments using Azure.
• Business acumen and experience working with clients or in consulting settings.
• Proficiency in Danish

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience with other programming languages (e.g., R, SQL, Scala) or visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, or energy.
• Certifications in Azure Data Science or related cloud technologies.
