In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Strategy Consultant at IBM, you’ll be working closely with clients and their customers to understand their pain points, bringing together IBM’s unique capabilities across strategy, innovation, design, data analytics, cognitive computing, and technology platforms to develop and deliver high-impact transformation programs.Leveraging a growth mindset, you’re ready and willing to deliver business value, wherever needed. In your role, you may be responsible for:
- Researching the client organization and industry value chains
- Drawing from primary and existing IBM research on evolving market trends
- Identifying issues, creating hypotheses, and executing analysis, to develop decision-ready recommendations for our clients

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Exceptional quantitative analysis skills and ability to derive recommendations informed by data and insights
- Powerful communication and storytelling skills, with an ability to communicate complex situations clearly and simply
- Ability to apply logic to solve ambiguous problems and deliver creative and well-structured solutions
- A passion for innovative ideas, coupled with the ability to understand and assimilate different points of view
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively in an intense team environment, able to build direct working relationships across all levels of the IBM and client teams
- Fluent in English is a must (written & spoken)
- Swiss nationality or valid Swiss work permit / EU passport
