Overall project leader who will manage the working team and client relationships, and ensure overall quality control to successfully deliver project outcomes
Develop new and maintain existing intellectual property, including methodologies in both qualitative and data-driven analysis
Business development responsibilities, including drafting of proposals, bringing new ideas to clients, and making public presentations
Produce compelling thought leadership articles for external circulation
Establish internal and external networks to drive new opportunities
Coach and mentor junior members of the team
What we are looking for
Degree in economics, public policy, international development (or related ones) from a reputable university with a strong academic track record. Master's degree is a plus
At least 8 years of leadership and project management experience in a consulting / client facing environment
Recognized thought leader in two to three areas of economic strategy and/or economic development (e.g., climate economics, labour market development, industry promotion etc.)
Strong expertise in a few areas of economics such as economic impact analysis, econometrics, macroeconomics, cost-benefit analysis, policy and regulatory analysis, climate modelling, or social impact quantification
