KeyResponsibilities
- Perform independently tool installation tasks (mechanical assembly, electrical connections, robot calibrations) from the integration to the inspection of the toolsincluding troubleshooting incase of issues.
- Follows all checklists and procedures and ensures correct procedures and schematics are available prior to performing work.
- Test equipment with assistance from senior engineers, existing documentation and diagnostic techniques.
- Responds to fab issues by communicating with other engineers and participating in escalation conference calls.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce installation cycle time and costs.
- Provide accurate reporting of status, hours worked andnon-conformances.
- Adhere to the security policy and quality standards of Applied Materials and its customers.
Skills and Experience required:
- Associate’s, bachelor’s, or master' degree with technical background like mechanical assembly, equipment installation, maintenance, mechatronics, electronics, electrical, mechanical, or similar...
- Position open to New College Graduate (NCG).
- Some experience or knowledge with AppliedMaterials CVD/CMP/EPItools would be an advantage but not required.
- Troubleshooting skills to solve mechanical and electrical issues during system installation.
- Ability to communicate daily pass-downs and equipment status reports.
- Project management skills to control installation project within budget, timeline and installation quality requirements.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Good English communication skills both written and verbal.
- Good Knowledge of the MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
- The position requires extensive travelling throughout Europe (75% of the time, depending on overall activity requirements)
