Job Description
Internal and external collaboration:
- Ensures continuous cooperation, communication and sharing of information with the Business Unit Director, the Marketing Manager, Technical Managers and the logistic team in the CER.
- Shares and implements best practices within the country and across the region.
- Builds and maintains business relationships with targeted customers, KOLs and authorities and ensures customer satisfaction, trust and loyalty to the company and its products in order to meet or exceed annual sales objectives.
- Gives constructive feedback to the Marketing Manager on the acceptance of the promotional campaign and materials, including digital marketing campaigns.
- Decides on escalated commercial cases up to the level of its authority.
Development and implementation of the commercial plan:
- Ensures the development and implementation of the yearly commercial plan and monitors the impact and comes with actions.
- Identifies customer needs, segmentation, drivers / barriers, and develops segmentation strategies.
- Measures the performance, supports SFE guidance and guarantees an accurate CRM system data update.
- Analyzes and concludes on available customer, market, and competitive data and provides feedback to team on effectiveness of plan’s implementation.
- Prepares, administers, monitors, calculates, and evaluates customer loyalty programs of the business units.
- Represents together with the team the organization on conferences and exhibitions.
- Leads cycle meeting preparations and the agenda in close collaboration with marketing-technical departments.
- Reports sales activities, market trends, competitor activities and any market intelligence data.
- Stays updated in terms of professional and scientific information and communicates this to the team in order to stimulate the sales of products and services of the organization for customer support purpose.
- Cooperates cross-country with other sales managers and the logistics teams in order to ensure optimal product supply.
- Maintains relationships with distributors of veterinary products in respect to provide sufficient product information and commercial support including follow-ups on reclamations, out-of-stock (OOS) situations
- Ensures that all activities are in line with compliance and code of conduct.
Skills Required:
- Secondary education. A university degree (veterinary medicine, agriculture, life sciences or BA) is an asset
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a commercial position or other relevant experience, preferentially in AH market
- Proven successful experience in leading and coaching people is an advantage
- High level of personal motivation and results-oriented
- Team player with leadership qualities and ability to work effectively cross-functionally
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a portion of constructive assertiveness
- Good sales analytical skills and a strategic mindset
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Competent use of MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and in IT technology in general
- Fluent English (verbal and written)
- Ability to travel abroad 15%
