Tests and modifies general systems-level software/hardware, specialized utility and/or hardware. Interprets wireless specifications. Designs test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures. Documents systems-level defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to developers. Identifies, analyzes, troubleshoots, and documents problems with program function, output, or content. Develops testing programs that assess effectiveness of a new system or modification of an existing system.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• Job Function: We are looking for talented test engineers with experience in BSP printer testing on computer product line, with strong interest in learning new BSP technologies (such as boot, kernel, storage, bus, PCIE etc.), working together with global teams for internal, customer and competitors’ devices.

• Responsibilities: As a Computer Printer Test Engineer, working scope includes:

• Be responsible for testing covers basic commercially available printer on Qualcomm Snapdragon laptops.

• Be responsible for interfacing with Microsoft and printer manufacturers to resolve printer issues.

• Collaborating with global test engineers and customer application engineers to support customer printer issue.

• Testing on-site if any customer urgent issues.

• Testing report analysis and delivery for daily work summary.

• Research and self-motivation for new test cases and new test method.

• Support on lab test environment setup for computer peripherals test, focus on printers’ inventory.

• Skills/Experience:

• Best have test experience on Windows driver development or printer manufactures related work.

• Have the basic knowledge of related areas including Linux kernel, computing system, or SoC on embedded system.

• Be familiar with Windows platform architecture or familiar with windows debug or familiar with printer manufactures is a plus.

• Familiar with programing languages such as C/C++, python, shell, coding/automation experience is a big plus.

• Good cooperation with team members. Forceful responsibility is necessary.

• Excellent written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
