Tax Advisor, National Tax (SAP Tax Integration - Tax Technology & Transformation) (Senior) (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY.

Provide business tax services and tax technology services to help client companies meet complex demands for tax reporting, compliance and planning. Assist with the production of leading practice finance/tax software solutions leveraging SAP, and support and automate internal and external operations of multinational tax departments. Implement and integrate ERP systems with client tax and financial data. Monitor assigned tasks until completion, including documenting requirements, configuration, testing, debugging systems, documenting and implementing process change and monitoring overall project profitability. Identify ways to automate manual tasks using existing and emerging technologies. Consolidate tax data to make analysis and planning more efficient. Improve reporting capabilities to enhance our clients’ ability to evaluate risk and capitalize on opportunities. Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with team members with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services focusing on more complex, judgmental and/or specialized issues. Demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Learn about EY and its service lines and actively assess and present ways to apply knowledge and services.

Full time employment, Monday– Friday,40hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Law, Management Information Systems, Tax, or a related field and 2 years of work experience in tax process improvement. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Law, Management Information Systems, Tax, or a related field and 1 year of work experience in tax process improvement.Must have 1 year of experience in translating tax processes and/or operational assessments into SAP.

Must have 1 year of experience in Tax Data and Reporting requirements for ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, and/or Hyperion).

Must have 1 year of experience implementing third-party direct or indirect tax systems such as ONESOURCE, CorpTax, Vertex, Avalara, and/or Longview.

Must have 1 year of experience with data standards and data management principles, including data process flows, data quality and master data management.

Requires travel up to 50% in order to serve client needs.
