This is a Union role, and the hourly rate is $34.39 plus $1.35/hour for the shift differential
Set-up, operate and maintain a variety of CNC, ASM and Chucker machines and perform required checks to maintain quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Set-up, operate and maintain one or more CNC/ASM milling and/or turning machines simultaneously with other auxiliary machines. Perform diversified work when setting up and operating tape operated machines. Works with Engineering Personnel on trial run and special parts doing any type of job with or without Methods Layouts, working from prints and Engineering sketches.
- Set-up, operate and maintain a variety of CNC/ASM machines which perform a variety of operations such as, but not limited to; boring, reaming, turning, milling, drilling, tapping, etc.
- Performs specified quality checks on piece parts, trial run and experimental parts using a variety of standard and special measuring devices to maintain quality of parts produced.
- May be required to train another operator.
- Embrace and engage in the Honeywell Operating System (HOS) including activities, but not limited to Safety & Behavioral Observation Process (BOP), 5S, Continuous Improvement (Kaizen), Tiered Accountability Process, Standard Work, Rapid Problem Solving (RPS), Built In Quality (BIQ), Coaching, Total productive Maintenance (TPM) and Knowledge Sharing.

- Related machine Tooling; ie cutters, drills, boring bars, etc.
- Anorad machines
Auxiliary Equipment
- Drills, tappers, mills, turning, etc.
- Precision measuring instruments.
YOU MUST HAVE
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years’ experience at level B6 with demonstrated productivity skills and ability.
- Satisfactory Completion of geometric tolerancing ACE course or equivalent.
- 40 hours of CNC training and 6 months evaluation period. OR
- 1800 hours of vocational machinist training or equivalent outside machine shop experience with a 60 Day Review and 6 months evaluation period.
