ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Typical activities include system setup, system integration, testing and failure analysis for HW cores to deliver cutting-edge storage products.
• Debugs, analyses system design workload, and optimizes design performance and functionality across a wide variety of hardware and software platforms, including PC’s, servers, RAID, and various operating systems.
• Follows department processes and guidelines for software tools development and strives to meet company goals and objectives.
• Works with cross functional teams to bring up new integrated system for storage products.
• Documents findings of engineering analyses and investigations.

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Computer, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Development knowledge in software programming such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Relevant experience in SVR (Smart Video Recording), NAS, CCTV, or any test system.
• Knowledge in computer hardware, software and various operating systems such as Windows and Linux.
• Ability to manage projects and tasks effectively prior to deadlines and commitments.
• Excellent communication skills in written and verbal.

PREFERRED:

• Familiarity with PC’s, servers, RAID, and various operating systems is desired.
• Knowledge in SATA, SAS and PCIE is a plus.

SKILLS:

• Hardware and software debugging skills.
• Must have a high degree of problem-solving skills and solutions oriented.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work under pressure for quick resolution and delivery.
• Able to work in a team or independently.
