As a Data Compliance Analyst on Transaction Testing platform you will ensure that data handling, storage, and processing align with regulatory requirements and internal policies. The role involves monitoring data governance frameworks, assessing compliance risks, and implementing controls to safeguard sensitive information. The analyst will work closely with legal, security, and technology teams to address regulatory obligations, support audits, and enhance data protection strategies. The analyst will ensure that the organization meets industry standards and mitigates risks related to data privacy and security.
Transaction Testing End to End Solution offers technical capabilities at scale that will improve transaction testing process and enable larger sample testing at increased frequency utilizing modernized and optimized technical infrastructure.
Technology is focused on improving the data architecture and how data is managed front-to-back through placing more controls on SOR data, ensuring complete lineage, mapping of data to end-points, testing our results and simplifying through application migrations
Responsibilities
- Understand data requirements and coordinate across data teams, understand data details and dependencies to support Transaction testing.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for strategic data analysis, identify insights and implications as well as make strategic recommendations, develop data displays that clearly communicate complex analysis.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills to negotiate internally, often at a senior level, leveraging diplomacy to guide, influence and convince internal stakeholders.
- Work with development team to ensure data ingestion/recon is completed within stipulated SLA. Support Sampling/profiling as required.
- Contribute to the design, roll-out and governance of financial solutions, including:
- Participate in formulating and setting strategic direction for the transaction testing process, organization and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions and locations
- Assist in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance
- Apply in-depth knowledge of the business impact of process design and technical contributions.
- Support delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions.
- Consult on business operations offering authoritative advice to influence significant business outcomes.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in working within Data space
- 6+ years of experience in Data analysis and working on enterprise applications.
- 3+ yeas experience as Product owner and detailed understanding of latest data technologies and solutions towards how they can help solve for next generation business needs.
- Comprehensive experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
- Comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within technology
- Extensive hands-on experience in Agile technologies
- Experience using tools statistical modeling
- Diverse functional experience (e.g. Finance business, product development, analytics)
- Experience in Finance data sources and finance business knowledge must
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Master’s degree
