Description
As a Software Developer on Apple Pay, you will work across the entire stack in order delivering a world class mobile credential system. We work across the technology stack from the underlying implementation on the embedded OS up to the higher level software. This role also has an outstanding opportunity to work through the entire lifecycle of new credentials solutions, from conception through implementation, qualification and ultimately adoption at scale.
Key Qualifications
- Passion to building scalable and legible software solutions across the stack
- 3+ years of experience in development in C, C++, or Objective C
- Detailed knowledge of macOS and iOS is helpful
- Understanding of cryptographic primitives (RSA, AES, SHA, etc..)
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams
- Inquisitive, and seek to tackle everyday problems in innovative ways
- Laser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers
- Excellent problem solving and intuitive debugging skills
- You bring passion and dedication to your job and are committed to our vision and supporting the developer community
- Eager to get your hands dirty!
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience required.
Additional Requirements
- The following requirements are nice to have and not required:
- Experience crafting security solutions and designing quality modular software.
- Experience in embedded software engineering
- Experience with developing JavaCard applets for JavaCard OS or related software development experience for security products.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
