A day in the life

• Post accounts payable transactions for Publisher, ensuring Publisher expenses are accounted appropriately and up-to date records are maintained.
• Track expenses, booking Journal entries in our financial system.
• Assist in the creation of vendors in NetSuite (ERP)
• Assist in setting up controls needed for SOX compliance
• Help in implementing and testing new financial systems
• Performing bank reconciliations and AP reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Internal Sales, AMs, Finance, Legal and other teams in order to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Working with our external accounting firm, guiding them and coordinating with them when needed.
• Help with VAT reporting

What you’ll bring

• 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping roles, involving Accounts Payables, and Bank Reconciliations.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree or certification in accounting or bookkeeping is preferred.
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly under pressure to meet deadlines
• Flexibility within a constantly changing environment
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to cooperate and collaborate effectively with team members
• Effective communication skills
• Proactive attitude – ability to take initiative to get things done
• Possess strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Be motivated with an eye for process improvements
• Experience working with international companies - Advantage
