Your impact

Responsibilities will include:

Overseeing all aspects of the construction process from the design phase through closeout including interface with the building department & clients (OMH, DMNA, PARKS), track field/change orders, billings, manage contractors, sub., and all supporting staffs to ensure quality expectations and accomplish financial goals, milestones. Supporting PM or AS in payment review, administrative support, schedule & conduct project meetings at which contractors, OGS D&C staff, and CM jointly discuss progress, problems, coordination including drafting minutes of project meetings for multi projects as needed. Overseeing the submittal process, review product data, samples, and other submission items, when designated for field level review, for compliance with contract documents and when directed review submittals in submittal exchange. Tracking & assisting contract administrative services such as RFIs, IBs, FOs, COs, insurances, proposals & 2WLA/P6 schedules from contractors. Performing quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance, and report on the project’s status by utilizing the current building code & reference standards, project specification for inspection and where applicable the process, testing, pre-installation meetings and designer site visits. Distribute the test reports/inspections to all correspondence parties. Reading and interpreting construction drawings such as, architectural/structural plans, shop drawings, site safety plans and identify the scope of work by reviewing specifications and attending walkthroughs on work sites. Collaborating with PM to determine project schedule, construction phase by studying project plans and specifications, calculating time requirements, analysis of manpower and material/equipment required. Inspecting work performed by contractor & ensuring the project’s compliance with applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications. Notifying contractors, in writing of any deficiencies encountered, rolling punch list, coordinating as-built drawings, preparing field inspection reports with photographs, daily/weekly construction progress pictures record etc.

Job duties are project-based and performed on long-term assignments at various unanticipated sites within the U.S. which may require relocation at the end of each project.
