Instructional Designer, Hospital Patient Monitoring
As our Instructional Designer for Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM), you are responsible for designing and/or creating learning content to produce an exceptional interactive learning experience, meet the instructional intent and optimize delivery options.
Your role:
- Ensures that users of the Philips HPM solutions have the education they need to be successful.
- Gathers inputs, creates facilitator-led and digital course/curriculum outlines, and building engaging learning activities for Philips field and customers.
- Works with stakeholders across the business including those in the markets, product ownership, and end users, as well as the HPM education services team.
- Works cooperatively with instructional designers, delivery specialists, and subject matter experts to generate ideas for creating engaging learning activities.
You're the right fit if:
- You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience designing and developing learning materials in a variety of formats and assessment techniques, including experience working with IT or technical audiences.
- Your skills include ability to manage multiple projects, apply adult learning methodologies and a variety of tested learning theories, and have a learner’s mindset – always looking for ways to improve the educational experience.
- You have a bachelor’s degree and ideally an advanced degree or certification in the learning/education domain.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this .
- You’re able to work in ambiguity – design educational experiences without having all the information you might want; can work in a fast-pasted, agile product development process; can build relationships across cultures.

The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $90,160 to $154,560.
