Reporting to the , your focus will be Execution of fixed scopes of work on projects and development of further engineering skills. This will involve implementing defined parts of standard engineering solutions under the close supervision of other project engineers and assisting in the development of new or non-standard solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the required pre-requisites (e.g. design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, budget) are in place prior to commencing work.
• Detailed design of control and safety system architectures in accordance with Honeywell and Industry security best practices, including Honeywell Fault Tolerant Ethernet (FTE) and virtualisation of Honeywell systems.
• Implementation of control and safety systems projects, typically using Honeywell Experion controllers/RTUs/PLCs and supervisory systems, and/or third-party PLC controllers/PLCs
• Hardware and software Engineering for the Control and safety systems

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• Degree qualified in relevant engineering discipline (e.g.: Instrument & Control, Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronics or Chemical Engineering).
• Experience in implementing Instrumentation & Control and safety solutions in one or more of the following verticals: Refinery, Oil & Gas, Mining, Power
• Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings (P&IDs, PFDS, Electrical Drawings)
• Knowledge of DCS, SIS and/or Process Control Networks and security plus basic knowledge of Advanced Process Control and Business Solutions
• Understanding of the functioning of the field instruments such as sensors, finals control elements
