Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of piping systems (low temp chilled water, process heating and cooling water, compressed air, process piping) and mechanical equipment (air handling units, pumps, heat exchangers) and plumbing systems (domestic, industrial, reclaimed water, sanitary sewer)
Lead daily whiteboard meetings with contractors to plan work and conduct weekly safety meetings to assess safety adherence and project progress
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other trades (electrical, structural) to integrate MEP systems into the overall project
Oversee subcontractors to ensure timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality standards
Perform regular inspections to ensure piping and plumbing systems comply with blueprints, codes (ASME, ASHRAE, UPC, NFPA), and industry standards
Enforce strict adherence to OSHA regulations and internal safety protocols on-site
Assist in the testing, startup, and turnover of mechanical and plumbing systems, ensuring system readiness
What You’ll Bring
Minimum of 7 years in mechanical and plumbing construction, including 3 years in a supervisory role
Strong understanding of piping, mechanical equipment, and plumbing systems
Relevant certifications such as OSHA 30, journeyman/master plumber license, or piping certification are strongly preferred
Proficiency in construction management software (Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with navigating through 3D modeling software (Navisworks, Revizto, or other)
Familiarity with ASME piping codes, local building codes, International Mechanical Code (IMC), Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC)
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with stakeholders
