Your challenge

It is your challenge to make IT an integral part of business strategy execution, as close as possible to our businesses. You will accelerate rigorous execution, be operational excellent, focus on compliance and security, provide full cost transparency and provide transparent trade-offs and options between innovation and cost efficiency with decision making and empowerment of IT.

Your responsibilities

• Lead Network function comprising data networks and security.

• Deliver the services to Philips health tech business globally 24x7.

• Provide people leadership to Network SMEs located in APAC, EMEA and Americas

• Manage partners/in-house-teams to ensure they deliver the services as per contract and SLAs.

• Escalate major incidents with suppliers for quick resolution and provide leadership by internal coordination, stakeholder communication and direction.

• Chair monthly performance review meetings. Contribute to quarterly business review meeting.

• Consult with businesses to ensure network services help them meet their business objectives.

• Control operations cost by identifying and implementing savings initiatives.

• Identify business requirements and create fitting service level frameworks.

• Be the Subject Matter Expert in your field and provide coaching to the team on network technology and ITIL processes.

• Ensures warranty of business solution [fit-for-use]

• Creates service acceptance criteria (incl. service ability)

• Be the final point of escalation for major outages & wide impact incidents for Network services.

• Work together with the architects in defining the future of Network technologies.

• Work together with project managers to finalize projects in your area within time and budget as well as delivering the business requirements.

As a lead of Network services, you will be responsible for cradle to grave lifecycle of Network services serving colleagues and customers, globally. This team includes all global and regional service leads in the Network area as well as specialists in the region and central.

This role reports into Head of Networks & Telecom.

For this role we are looking for an ambitious, senior and experienced candidate, with the right combination of competencies, experience and potential to grow. You are able to deal with ambiguity and change and have:

• 15 to 20 years of experience with a university degree in Computer Science or related discipline

• In-depth knowledge of SW Defined WAN, LAN as well as DDI, security and firewalls

• ITIL Service Design or higher certification

• 3-5yrs years of experience as a Network domain leader in an IT organization of comparable size and portfolio

• 3+ years’ experience as an expert in design and deployment of SW Defined networks.

• Proven experience with Cisco products and solutions i.e Viptela, SDA, Umbrella, Thousand Eyes

• Excellent analytical, administrative social and communicative skills

• Passion for infrastructure Operation, service management and service delivery

• Ability to lead global teams of FTEs and partners in 24x7 follow-the-sun mode
