The Vision Products Group (VPG) is looking for an Experience Designer to help us push the limits of the next generation of interactive experiences on our platform.
As an Experience Designer, you will be the point person for crafting interactive environments in immersive experiences. The ideal candidate brings expertise in the design of virtual environments, as well as creative insight into story structure and pacing for interactive entertainment. You will have one foot in development and the other in production as you work closely with a team of designers, artists, animators, engineers, and more to deliver innovative, genre-defining experiences.Key responsibilities:
- Passion for creating imaginative experiences powered by cutting-edge technology.
- 10+ years shipping interactive entertainment experiences.
- Shipped at least one high profile experience in a level design or game design role.
- Mastery of design philosophy for interactive entertainment experiences.
- Expert in Maya, Blender, 3D Studio Max, or equivalent for level design.
- Expert in realtime 3D game editors such as Unity, Unreal, or similar.
- Familiar with scripting or programming real-time experiences using Javascript, C#, Unreal Blueprints, or similar.
- Excellent problem solving, creative thinking, communication, and presentation skills.
- Desire to grow interactive entertainment beyond traditional experiences.
- BA/MA, Game Design / Level Design, Architecture, or relevant industry experience.
- Experience in spatial computing, VR, or AR design.
