Responsibilities:

  • Advance organization/people strategy goals including communications strategy, talent strategy, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Assist leadership/Chief of Staff in promoting and executing communications & engagement program
  • Lead People Engagement Working Group and promote Voice of the Employee (VOE) communications
  • Participate in leadership meetings to assess scope of communications & engagement team needs, educate leadership on strategy, and make recommendations for achieving desired impact
  • Identify and develop business content for deployment, to enhance brand awareness with stakeholders and clients
  • Leverage technology and tools to enable activities and generate excitement and interest in communications & engagement
  • Develop monthly communications & engagement metrics to monitor and measure impact of the communication plan
  • Provide support (advise, write and edit) for company-wide communications
  • Drive administrative, operational, reporting and quality improvements through partnership with internal teams
  • Ensure headcount is accurate, real estate is inventoried and planned, and onboarding and termination of resources are managed
  • Drive productivity/ cost savings initiatives in partnership with the senior management team
  • Provide oversight of the Business-Critical Milestone Reporting process and other reporting processes to ensure quality, efficiency and accuracy
  • Complete financial deliverables including monthly forecasts, the annual investment process, client reporting and ad hoc requests
  • Execute vendor management activities, including ensuring legal requirements are met and coordinating contract negotiation and processing
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a financial services role
  • Communications & business engagement experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and technology, including Profit & Loss (P&L), accruals, client allocations, capitalization, recovery and fixed price contracts
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures
  • Proven ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments
  • Experience working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
