Key job responsibilities
- Drive deep dives for large-scale events, deliver high-quality documentation and drive corrective actions to completion
- Improve our detection mechanisms by designing and implementing new alerts
- Deliver simple, sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes- Create and review documentation and process regarding recurring issues, new standard operating procedures, knowledge transfer material, etc.
- Troubleshoot , and interconnectivity issues, including device configuration and low-level application interaction
- Identify and drive opportunities to repetitive tasks through creation and maintenance of scripts and tools.

- 4+ years experience of network fundamentals, robust troubleshooting skills, strong IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in one or more of the following: TCP, UDP, DNS or DHCP
- 4+ years of experience with one or more major internet routing protocols; BGP, OSPF, etc.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Shell, Perl etc.

- Thorough understanding of TCP/IP networking, IP routing, Server Load Balancing, and Network Security architecture and core technologies such as IP, TCP, OSPF/IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, Server Load Balancers, Firewalls.
- Experience with one or more of the following router, server load balancer, and firewall vendor platforms: Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, Arista, Brocade, Extreme, Citrix, F5, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of and experience with networking and/or systems technologies, and knowledge of network hardware and packet forwarding architectures.
