- Conduct market research and analyze competitor activities to identify trends and opportunities.
- Monitor product performance and profitability, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Understand markettrends and propose new business ideas with long-term plans, competitive analysis, and growth expectations.
3. Business Growth & Market Expansion
- Identify and pursue new businessopportunities inexisting and emerging markets.
- Develop andexecute go-to-market(GTM) strategies for new products and services.
- Execute growth plans by prioritizing engineering and project management needs, ensuring ROI and GP targets.
4. Pricing & Commercial Strategy
- Own pricing, commercial terms, andprofitability forresponsible products.
- Develop customer-specificpricing strategies and business cases to meet financial targets.
- Lead contractnegotiations andsupport sales with proposals and presentations.
5. Sales & Customer Engagement
- Work closely with sales teams to develop customer relationships at all levels and hold regular business reviews.
- Drive sales activities to meet/exceed annual budgets, ensuring alignment between regional teams.
- Gather customer feedback to refine product features and performance.
- Build andmaintain strategicrelationships withkey clients and partners.
6. Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution
- Act as a bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring tactical alignment within account management.
- Work closelywith engineering,sales, marketing, andmanufacturing todeliver tailored solutions.
- Ensure project execution and deliverables, including escalation management when needed.
- Fine-tune businessdevelopmentsolutions throughvalue propositions and compelling sell stories.
Qualification:
- 10+ years of experience in product management and/or business development, ideally in industrial sectors, with a strong technical and commercial background.
- Proven expertise in strategic business development for global markets, with the ability to navigate cross-cultural dynamics.
- Exceptional communication,negotiation, and presentation skills, with fluencyin English andproficiency in Chinese (preferred).
- A results-drivenleadership style,combining analyticalthinking, project management, andproblem-solving todrive growth in global, cross-functional settings.
- Experience in product lifecycle management, pricing strategy, and go-to-marketexecution withinindustrial sectors.
- Willingness to travelinternationally andengage with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
