Monday - Friday from 11AM - 7:30PM
Primary focus is to build quality product by following processes to meet production goals. Develop in-depth process and system knowledge for the production line. Responsible for taking on additional responsibilities and acting as a peer leader and role model. Must be able to communicate clearly with co-workers both in speech and in writing.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Effective leadership, interpersonal and verbal communication skills are required to interface with support personnel and to cross-train co-workers.
- Responsible for quality and 100% adherence to manufacturing process requirements, the Boston Scientific Corporation Quality Policy and the Strategic Quality Process (SQP).
- Proactively identifies and communicates quality issues and concerns.
- Processes a solid understanding of the work processes and their work cells (seeks out the why and how things happen).
- Understands the functions of SAP, including running reports. Responsible for conducting basic and routine trouble-shooting if applicable to the area.
- Champions the “flex strategy”, rotates as necessary and works well with group members, both within the team and cross-functionally.
- Demonstrates proficiency in all communication, including written and spoken, as well as strong math skills.
- Consistently ensure the team is following procedures and is focused on product quality.
- Provides core skill training and guidance on all tasks to the product builders.
- Proficient within job related computer programs or databases (examples: SAP, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.).
- Must have working knowledge of all processes in assigned area. Builds product as necessary by following all procedures in which certified (in the current revision), while meeting manufacturing goals and metrics.
- Maintains accurate records, including Shop Floor Paperwork (SFP), work requests, and site specific documentation. Consistently monitors team records and documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Understands and ensures compliance of BSC, site specific and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Responsible for attending and passing all required core BSC and site specific training (i.e. QS Basics, GDP, cGMP).
- Ability to become a certified trainer as determined by the Production Supervisor. If acting as a trainer, responsible for training others and maintaining accurate training files for others.
- Participate during site internal audits and third party inspections.
- Attends production / product development related meetings.
- Other tasks as directed by the Production Supervisor, Production Manager, and/or Quincy Site Leadership.
- Assist in the recording of the Core 5 Metrics.
- Participate in continuous and process improvements/efforts.
Required qualifications:
- 4 years of experience with High School degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience
