The position reports within the Aero Demand Planning Organization. The demand team is responsible for collecting data, collect forecast information from business leads and preparing forecast in support of the Sales, Inventory, and Operating Plan (SIOP) process across the CBT’s. This individual is accountable for consolidating all demand streams and aggregating into a single set of requirements, to review and provide input into an unconstrained demand forecast to the integrated supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve expert level demand planning skill sets and participate in demand planning problem solving as needed.
  • Capable of maintaining with the team multiple SIOP and Demand reports in databases feeding into Tableau views for the consumption by Aero leaders on regular basis. Reports support multiple efforts such as Current Year Ordering, SIOP calls, MORs, and AOP target development.
  • Manage the review and updating of the Demand Plan for Every Part (Demand PFEP) process for Aero.
  • Facilitate demand planning best practice sharing and provide supplemental demand planning support for multiple high profile planning desks.
  • Manage multiple projects and resources simultaneously to drive sustainable results.
  • Develop and execute project schedules, milestones, specific task descriptions, interdependencies, target completion dates and work scope.
  • Communicate project progress, metrics, trends, results, problems and possible solutions.
  • Achieve cross functional leadership buy in on transformation initiatives and persuade through use of data and examples, supported through use of HON standard escalation processes.
  • Improve forecast accuracy by implementing and leading processes to collect data, analyze trends, and prepare forecasts, utilizing Servigistics or other appropriate planning tool in support of SIOP process; work closely with Finance to ensure commonality in process, data and expectations.
  • Team with Site and demand teams to ensure solid development and deployment of a robust process to capture historical data from direct Spares and R&O sites to capture upcoming business initiatives to improve the forecast accuracy and provide the Unconstrained Demand Plan (UDP) to the integrated supply chain.
  • Identify and analyze Month v Month, Year v Year, YTD trends, and aggregate into a single set of outputs.
  • Analysis will include OEM/Spares and Repair and Overhaul shipments.
  • Document assumptions used and validate throughout SIOP process.
  • Strong bias for action-ability to make informed decisions in a complex environment and drive execution via indirect leadership.
  • High level of interaction and collaboration with Planning, Procurement, Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), Platform Leaders/Directors, CBTs/Sales, SBU finance.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

This positionis incentive plan eligible.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • 6+ years of direct experience or training in any of the following disciplines: Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, or Data Science with a track record of delivering successful results.
  • Expertise in demand management processes, problem solving, lean principles, business practices and SAP/ Rapid Response systems.
  • Strong analytical mind, complex and creative thinking as well as concern for accuracy and details.
  • Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Strong system capabilities such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
WE VALUE
  • Bachelor’s degree of an Accredited University in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or Supply Chain.
  • Knowledge in Alteryx, Tableau, excel macros, structured query language (SQL), Python, and working in servers.

  • Independent person capable of planning and managing own work.
  • Capacity to understand critical situations, sort urgencies and escalate priorities in a constructive manner

  • Able to be effective in working with variety of Program Managers and Platform Leaders in balancing customer demands in accordance with established ISC process controls.
  • Excellent teaming integration and collaboration skills.
