About this role:You will be working with our enterprise sales team to drive Cilium Enterprise adoption in all phases of the sales cycle. This is a unique opportunity to engage 1:1 with some of the most forward-thinking technologists in the industry and have a real impact. Demand for our products has skyrocketed over the last 12 months as customers realize that legacy tools simply don’t cut it in the new stack. Kubernetes and containers require purpose-built solutions designed for the cloud.What you’ll do:* Drive in-depth discovery discussions with prospective customers to understand their environment and associated needs
* Conduct virtual and live product demonstrations* Assist customers with POCs* Help shape the culture and future of the Isovalent’s sales engineering organizationMinimum Qualifications:* 5+ years of technical sales experience with infrastructure, enterprise software
* Experience in Kubernetes operations, Kubernetes networking, container ecosystem and microservices
* Effectively communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences through compelling presentations, whiteboarding, and written materials, while collaborating seamlessly within fast-paced, multi-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:* Significant Fortune 500 Customer facing experience
* Ability to inject qualification and discovery into the sales cycle beyond "interest" and/or "champion engagement".
* Stakeholder engagement includes customers, sales partners (account executives/sales management), product and engineering team partners, and marketing.
* Expertise in cloud native technologies Docker, Kubernetes, Service Mesh
* Expertise with specific Cloud/Kubernetes environments or distributions (AWS, GCE/GKE, Azure, VMware Tanzu, OpenShift etc.)
* SecOps experience
* Experience with Network Security (WAFs, Firewalls etc.)
* Be an upbeat, dynamic person who engages with people - whether they are customers, prospects, or members of the community
* Ability to be highly responsive to customer requests and needs
* Experience balancing multiple customers while getting results quickly
* Client management and organization/business awareness
* Effective client-facing skills
* Domain knowledge of one or more verticals within the financial services and capital markets industryWe tackle whatever challenges come our way.
