As an Advanced R&D Engineer/Scientist here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for supporting the LiFSI program and other Pilot Plant projects in Buffalo, NY. You will utilize your expertise in the AMR&DO Operations business to drive innovation and contribute to the development of advanced technologies. This role requires a strong background in research and development, project management, and technical leadership. You will report directly to our [Title] and you'll work out of our Buffalo, NY location on a hybrid work schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Conduct research and development activities to support the LiFSI program and other Pilot Plant projects
• Design and conduct experiments, simulations, and analyses to drive the development of advanced technologies
• Lead the ideation, conceptualization, and prototyping of innovative solutions
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to leverage collective expertise and resources
• Ensure that R&D projects adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Honeywell's quality and safety protocols
• Contribute to the development of strategies for successfully bringing R&D innovations to market
• Strong background in areas such as materials science, electronics, sensors, controls, or related fields
• Proven track record of technical leadership and project management
WE VALUE • Bachelor's degree or Advanced degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, or another related field
• Solid understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and architecture principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to drive technology commercialization is a plus
