Position Overview:
The Lead Sales Administrator will support the Sales Director in managing and optimizing the sales administration processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. This role requires a highly organized professional with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail. The Lead Sales Administrator will oversee the sales support team, ensuring that all administrative functions related to the sales department run smoothly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Support Management:
- Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the sales support team.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the sales team and management.
- Administrative Functions:
- Assist the Sales Director with scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, and preparing reports.
- Manage sales documentation, including contracts, proposals, and correspondence.
- Data Management:
- Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system with accurate sales data.
- Compile and analyze sales reports to provide insights and trends to the Sales Director.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement in the sales processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all sales administration tasks.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, finance, and logistics, to ensure cohesive operations.
- Attend sales meetings to provide updates and feedback from administrative perspectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales administration or similar roles, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
