Your Day-to-Day
- Work cross-functionally to build new services, tools and data models to operationalize our workflows at scale.
- Participate in product reviews and team meetings, providing technical insight. Help scope, estimate, and prioritize between conflicting needs.
- Evaluate new technologies and approaches to streamline and improve our rapid application development tooling and conventions.
- Regularly learn new systems and tools as the Netflix platform and ecosystem evolves.
- Participate in our on-call rotation and contribute to incident reviews.
- Invest your experience in the growth and development of less experienced talent.

We would love to work with you if you:
- Are adept at building client side applications using technologies like HTML5, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, NodeJS, and GraphQL, and have a strong understanding of UX and UI design principles.
- Are passionate about building intuitive user interfaces in close partnership with UX Designers.
- Have in-depth knowledge of web performance and accessibility.
- Have hands-on experience with the complete development lifecycle – from product requirements, to initial technical designs, implementation, testing, and production deployment in a cloud environment.
- Understand database concepts and data modeling capabilities.
- Are comfortable both giving and receiving feedback, with a growth mindset that recognizes the exchange of ideas as opportunities for improvement.
- Demonstrate excellence in analytical and problem-solving skills.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $100,000 - $720,000.
