Today
This is a hybrid role, 3 + 2 days model for office and home working.
Work closely with product management and architects to help develop epics and features for the platform roadmap.
Work closely with engineering leadership to calculate engineering capacity and costs to build platform roadmap.
Provide technical leadership and oversight in the development and implementation of engineering best practices.
Improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of the platform while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
Have an “Automate Everything” mindset to support scalable growth.
Estimate workloads, make PI commitments and meet delivery dates and quality requirements while reporting progress to management.
Key skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field OR equivalent experience
- Previous experience managing and leading backend and frontend development teams in an agile environment
- Previous experience with micro-services and cloud native product development and have a good understanding of Kubernetes orchestration on Azure or AWS
- Experience using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
- Programming experience in C#, Java, or C++ with solid engineering practices
- Solid experience with REST API development and exposure to React development.
- Shift left approach with solid experience managing QA automation as part of the CI/CD pipeline
