Senior Software Engineer

Minimum education and experience Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience in software engineering or related experience; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of experience in software engineering or related experience.

Skills required: Must have experience with: Designing and developing batch/online programs in IBM Mainframes Z/OS operating system; Coding and testing programs using JCL, COBOL and ; Utilizing APS, VAG and code generation tools; Cloud Computing and storage in Microsoft Azure; Testing and troubleshooting programs with Xpeditor; Utilizing IBM DB2 Relational DB, IMS Hierarchical DB, indexed VSAM files for data storage and retrieval; Developing CICS Online programs and screens; Managing relational databases and performing various operations on the data in them using Structured Query Language; Data set-up and manipulation using File-Aid; Defining and modifying batch job flow with CA7 and TWS job scheduler; and Utilizing Librarian and for version control. will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
