In this role with IESP, you will build appropriate technical solutions for building & launching new payment products and services using scalable technologies available in Amazon. Where applicable, you will use native AWS services to build these components that can scale up based on business necessities. You will also design appropriate monitors and alarms to detect outages and take part in team on-call to ensure that the product meets the high availability bar customers expect of Amazon. You will work with product managers, Sr. SDEs and Principal engineers in designing, coding and delivering the solutions.Work/Life Balance

- Coach, mentor and develop other engineers inside the organization.- Review and provide feedback in other engineers deliverables to keep a high overall standard.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
