The Social Producer will be primarily responsible for ensuring the flawless development and execution of world-class communications across China’s social platforms. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Strategists, Brand Managers, Content Managers, Creative team, PR professionals, Product Managers and external partners to deliver impactful, on-brand messaging that engages and inspires our audience.
This role is responsible for bringing creative ideas to life and support the content strategy used in social media spaces (primarily with RedNote and Weibo platforms, and campaigns in collaboration with influencers and press outlets).
  • Collaborate closely with Creative and Content teams to push for both creative and technological innovation in social media programs, with the goal of elevating Apple’s impact and influence across the social landscape.
  • Own and manage the creative development process for social media programs, from planning and design, to development and implementation.
  • Manage multiple workflows, deliver projects on time, and help set expectations for the team while keeping all ongoing tasks on track.
  • Have a deep knowledge of Apple, its products, its business prioritization to help the team deliver world-class communications on social media platforms.
  • Bilingual in Chinese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 2+ years experience working with influencers/KOLs/KOCs across lifestyle, tech, and culture verticals, ideally within a learning digital agency or brand environment.
  • Deep understanding of WeChat, Douyin and other social media video platforms (e.g. rednote, Bilibili), including platform algorithms, trends, formats, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to create visually compelling social content, with strong storytelling and design aesthetics suited to today's social platforms and current audience trends.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in communications, marketing, business administration, new media, photography & film, culture & arts, or a related field.
  • Organized and resourceful with excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate creative ideas and strategies across a global organization.
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional creative and production teams.
  • Strong visual design background, with the ability to apply design principles to social media content.
  • Passion for crafting work that is thoughtful, relevant, accurate, clear, and inspiring.
  • Knows how to marshal resources (people, funding, material, support) to get things done.
