Your key responsibilities
- Providing high quality and strategic employment law advice to internal and external clients (both in Australia and internationally) on all aspects of the employment relationship, from conduct and performance to workforce flexibility and contracts of employment
- Reviewing and interpreting legislation and industrial instruments for wage and entitlement compliance projects which uses EY’s cutting edge data analytics capability
- Providing strategic workforce and industrial relations advice, including developing enterprise agreement strategies, drafting EAs and conducting BOOT analysis
- Advising on the employment law aspects of mergers and acquisitions and restructures including undertaking employment law due diligence
- Advising clients on workplace change and culture issues including discrimination, bullying, sexual harassment and whistleblowing
What we look for
- Experience in an Australian top-tier, mid-tier, boutique employment law firm or Big 4 legal practice
- A good understanding and demonstrative knowledge of Australian employment law
- Commercially astute and able to talk about the law in a practical way
- An interest in business development and legal technology
