Job responsibilities
- Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
- Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
- Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
- Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
- Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
- Engages closely with Product, Service, Sales, Operations, as well as Credit Risk to review and to implement enhancements to credit policy and end-to-end process of liquidity and credit exposure creation, utilization and monitoring
- Ensures proper product documentation where product usage incurs or creates liquidity and credit exposure
- Develops metrics and reporting framework for measuring and monitoring liquidity and credit exposure
- Develops and implements proper framework to monitor and address overdrafts and ensures ongoing adherence to the framework by cross-functional partners
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
- Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
- Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
- Proven analytical, problem-solving and quantitative skills
- Attention to detail is critical
- Organized, self-motivated and able to work in collaborative team environment
- Advanced knowledge of Powerpoint and Excel skills
- Proven communication and stakeholder management skills required, with the ability to communicate effectively with partners across J.P. Morgan
- An organized self-starter and quick learner with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple projects, and bring projects to closure
- Strong risk and controls mindset
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Vast knowledge in Payments and Liquidity products
- Strong data analytics, including ability to manipulate large datasets using business intelligent tools
- Ability to code in Python is a plus, but not required
