3M is seeking candidates for a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician in Indianapolis, Indiana.
- 12-hour shifts from 6:45pm-7:15am
- Starting Rate: $35.52 + $2.00 shift differential premium

As a Maintenance Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Capable of quickly coming up to speed and becoming fully competent in the diagnosis, trouble-shooting and repair of the equipment listed below: Pick and place robotics, indexing tables, vibratory feeder bowls, conveyors, box erectors, vertical baggers, in-line packaging machines, dot matrix printers ,pumps, mixers, dispensing systems for fluids , air-vey units , microwave dryers, air powered handling systems, laser, UV curing , presses, loaders, and ultra sonic welding
- Electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and repair
- Knowledgeable in PLC's, AC and DC drives
- Operational knowledge in high-speed assembly and packaging machinery repair, installation, modification and adjustments
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)
- Minimum (3) years of industrial maintenance experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Two year technical degree in a maintenance field
- Experience installing, diagnosing and repairing high speed assembly and/or automated packaging machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical power supply, machine control device, pneumatic, hydraulic equipment(s) in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working as an industrial maintenance mechanic
- Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving in a manufacturing environment
