The Impact You'll Have

• Own governance and reporting of marketplace health and key business metrics for the wider business leadership
• Manage reliability for the marketplace - including cancellations, dispatch logic, service geofences etc.
• Manage the surge experience for drivers and riders - including recommending right caps (when needed), working with product teams to roll out new tools and solving for surge accuracy and precision etc.
• Support the development of Uber’s pricing and incentive strategies for the ANZ region
• Work closely with product and operations teams to test and roll out new marketplace and pricing tools to support business objectives
• Provide critical inputs into forecasting and pricing, taking into account business seasonality, competitive pressure, budget feasibility, etc.
• Take on the responsibility of quarterbacking the financial and planning operating rhythm for Mobility ANZ

The Experience You'll Bring

• 3+ years of experience in management consulting, data analytics, startups, banking
• Comfortable with analytically heavy topics with SQL ability highly preferred
• Data-driven decision making mentality and sound business acumen through strong analytical thinking
• Analytical problem solving with ability to go deep on data analysis and structured problem solving for complex business problems
• Ability to marry data insights with business realities and exhibit sound judgment on marketplace mechanics
• Strong organisation skills with track record of managing projects and working on complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence and rally business and functional teams towards a common goal
• Self-starter, entrepreneurial, high achiever, ability to deliver projects with full autonomy and within demanding timelines
• Hands-on operator with an approach to quickly test, iterate and scale initiatives
